Our Story
At KDKs Kennels, our breeding program is built on experience, education, and a deep respect for the dogs we raise. With over 16 years of hands-on breeding experience, we have learned that responsible breeding is not about trends, shortcuts, or volume — it is about knowledge, preparation, and making thoughtful decisions that support long-term health and temperament. Our journey began with a genuine love for dogs and a desire to do things the right way. Over the years, that passion evolved into a carefully managed, health-focused breeding program rooted in continual learning and real-world experience. Every lesson learned, every litter raised, and every challenge faced has shaped the standards we uphold today.

Sixteen years of breeding experience means we understand that no two dogs, pregnancies, or litters are ever exactly the same. We invest significant time into planning each breeding, monitoring pregnancies, and providing hands-on care during the most critical stages of puppy development. We specialize in Rottweilers and Miniature Dachshunds, two very different breeds that require distinct approaches to breeding, pregnancy, and puppy development. Breeding both a large and a small breed has strengthened our commitment to education and adaptability, allowing us to implement breed-appropriate care protocols rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
Our program emphasizes:
